Quiche Original
Quiche Original. In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, cream, salt, sugar and cayenne pepper. A quiche is a tart made with pie crust and a creamy, savory custard filling.
A simple cheese and egg pie with a very distinct taste. Once rested, sprinkle the bacon onto the bottom layer of the pastry. Feel free to reheat in a toaster oven or microwave.
Line crust with parchment; fill with dried beans or pie weights.
Cool slightly before serving and garnish with parsley if desired.
